Children and Youth at St. James’

Sunday School

Our small-but-mighty Sunday School welcomes kids in kindergarten through 8th grade to learn about God’s unconditional love in a fun, active environment. We meet in the Parish Hall at 10 a.m. for stories from scripture, games, and crafts from the Weaving God’s Promises curriculum, then head over to church in time to join our families for Holy Communion. We follow the public-school schedule, meeting September through June.

Youth Group

Our Youth Group is for teens in grades 8-12. We meet about once a month for prayer, service, learning and fun.

In the past couple months we’ve:

Visited a local farm for a fall harvest festival day
Cooked a meal for our homeless neighbors with Hope on a Mission
Baked cookies for our churchwide Christmas Carol sing
Had a game night (lawn and board games)
and more!
