St. James’ helps pack 50,000 meals for the people of Haiti

A team of ten from St. James’ Church helped pack 3,456 meals with the New York Haiti Project on Saturday, March 18th. We were among twenty churches and 300 volunteers working together at the Haitian Congregation of the Good Samaritan on Hunt Ave in the Bronx, and together we packed 50,000 nutritious meals! The meals are currently sailing toward Matel, Haiti where they will help feed the children of St. Luke’s School.

As you can probably tell from the pictures—this was a JOYFUL day!
