Rowan Williams, past Archbishop of Canterbury, has said of Holy Week: It is “a week when we discover in a way we don’t at any other time just who we are and who God is.”
This four-week series, led by Mother Meredith, will explore the services of Holy Week and the Great Vigil of Easter, preparing you to more fully take part in this rich experience that expresses the heart of our life and faith. Together we’ll explore Scripture, our prayer book, and some sermons, art, and poetry inspired by Holy Week.
This study meets in the Wilks Room on Thursday evenings at 7 pm, beginning March 13th. Each evening will conclude with Compline (the Church’s night prayer) at 8 pm.
