September 11 Memorial Observance
September 11 @ 8:30 am - 9:00 am
St. James’ will lower our flag to half-staff and toll our bell at 8:46 a.m., marking the hour when the attacks of September 11, 2001 began. We do so in remembrance of all those who died and in solidarity with their families, friends, and communities. A moment of silence and a prayer will follow. All are welcome to be present for this brief ceremony.
St. James’ members are also encouraged to attend the Town of Hyde Park’s annual 9/11 Memorial Observance at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, September 11, at the Tegtmeier Memorial in Hackett Hill Park on East Market Street.
May the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
