Lenten Book Study: Julian of Norwich (Wilks Room)

April 8 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am

Julian of Norwich, an anchoress in the 14th century, was a mystic, teacher and mentor. After a grave illness in which she had visions of Christ, Julian penned her experiences—the first recorded works by a woman in English. We will take a look at a new translation of her “Revelations” in Mirabai Starr’s “Showings” (available at abe books, used; and Amazon, new). Come and join us as we seek to deepen our relationship with God.
(Co-hosts, Megan Bean and Bobbie Wells)

The final meeting of this study group on Tuesday, April 8th (in the Wilks Room) will take place at 10 am rather than 10:30 am.
