St. James’ will host a quiet prayer service for peace and unity on the evening before Election Day—Monday, November 4, 2024 at 7 pm.
The church will also be open for prayer and reflection throughout the day and into the evening on Election Day.
O God, you have bound us together in a common life. Help us, in the midst of our struggles for justice and truth, to meet one another without hatred or bitterness, and to work together with mutual forbearance and respect; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen. (Book of Common Prayer, adapted)
