Every year during the season of Easter, the book of the Acts of the Apostles shows up in our Sunday readings, and for good reason! These are the stories of the lives of Jesus’ followers after the resurrection, and of the spread of the Good News in the earliest days of the Church.
For our Easter season Bible study, we’ll read through the Acts of the Apostles. We will meet on Sundays in the Wilks room in our Parish House, after the 10 am service—so get a cup of coffee and a snack from coffee hour, and join in!
We’ll try to read about 4 chapters a week. You’re encouraged to read Acts 1-4 before the first session—but do come whether or not you’ve been able to complete the week’s reading! Here’s our schedule:
Week 1 | April 16th | Acts 1 – 4
Week 2 | April 23rd | Acts 5 – 8
Week 3 | April 30th | Acts 9 – 12
Week 4 | May 7 | Acts 13 – 16
Week 5 | May 14 | Acts 17 – 20
Week 6 | May 21 | Acts 21 – 24
Week 7 | May 28 | Acts 25 – 28
