SUMMARY:Town of Hyde Park September 11 Memorial Observance
DESCRIPTION:St. James’ members are encouraged to attend the Town of Hyde Park’s annual 9/11 Memorial Observance at 6:30 p.m. on Friday\, September 11\, at the Tegtmeier Memorial in Hackett Hill Park on East Market Street. \nSt. James’ will lower our flag to half-staff and toll our bell at 8:46 a.m.\, marking the hour when the attacks of September 11\, 2001 began. We do so in remembrance of all those who died and in solidarity with their families\, friends\, and communities. A moment of silence and a prayer will follow. All are welcome to be present for this brief ceremony. \nMay the souls of the faithful departed\, through the mercy of God\, rest in peace. Amen.
