Instructors are the Rev. Heather K. Sisk (St. Paul’s\, Pleasant Valley) and the Rev. Meredith Kadet Sanderson (St. James’ Hyde Park). DESCRIPTION:This monthly series for youth age 11-15 explores the basics of our Christian faith as expressed in The Episcopal Church. Candidates who complete the course will be ready for Confirmation—a rite where we express a mature commitment to Christ\, and receive strength from the Holy Spirit by prayer and the laying on of hands by a bishop. Youth who are already confirmed are welcome to join us and share their faith! \nYouth from four churches are participating: St. James’ in Hyde Park\, St. Paul’s in Pleasant Valley\, St. Margaret’s in Staatsburg\, and St. Paul’s in Poughkeepsie. Instructors are the Rev. Heather K. Sisk (St. Paul’s\, Pleasant Valley) and the Rev. Meredith Kadet Sanderson (St. James’ Hyde Park).
