Come hear more about an American hero\, and talk about the book with the author! \nSaturday\, March 11\, 2023 at 3:00 p.m.\nat the Wallace Visitor Center of the FDR Museum and Presidential Library\n4079 Albany Post Road\, Hyde Park\, NY \nPauli Murray was a leading force in working for equality for Black people\, women\, and LGBTQ+ people. They were a writer\, attorney\, professor\, and the first woman ordained an Episcopal priest. Pauli Murray: Shouting for the Rights of all People\, is a book for young readers. \nThis event is open to youth\, families\, and people of all ages. A Junior Ranger activity will be offered for young people. \nDeborah Nelson Linck is a writer and educator. She is the founder of the Hands-On Black History Museum. She lives in St. Louis. \nSponsored by The Poughkeepsie Library\, The National Parks Service\, and St. Paul’s Episcopal Church\, Poughkeepsie.
